VenaSeal™ – Innovative Vein Adhesion
Very gentle and innovative vein adhesion method – weight can be placed on the affected leg right after the procedure.
Acrylate adhesion is the latest development in treating varicose veins. Even though cyanoacrylate has been used for more than 40 years in medicine to close wounds and eliminate vascular malformations, it has only recently begun to be used to treat varicose veins. In 2014 we became one of the first practices to use this new method in Germany.
Treatment results of this novel method rival those of other procedures.
With this treatment method, the vein is punctured using a catheter and an incision is unnecessary. One special feature is that no local anaesthesia is required and weight can be placed on the affected leg straight after the procedure. Furthermore, compression stockings are not a necessary requirement.
